Potroast, deviled eggs, chicken salad and cresent rolls

I have been working on my cooking goal. Its going slowly. Since I'm headed to Idaho for family vaction on Tuesday I have not had the desire to buy a lot of food to cook. I have however made a few things from the book.

I began with potroast. We had some friends over for dinner and it turned out excellent. Despite having to double everything except the meat, we had plenty of food and the roast tasted amazing! My next item I cooked was deviled eggs. Ok so I've made these before and it was not a big deal, but i'm trying to follow all of these recipes exactly. Biggest problem this time was we did not have paprika and i want them to have color, so I used season salt. They were a tad salty.

I had been planning a dinner with the sister missionaries for a while, but they had to cancel on me due to limited miles. I was finally able to reschedule for Friday and i made chicken salad and cresent rolls. I have never made any sort of bread before so this was an exciting experience. I had to "punch" the bread and that was probably my favorite part. I was able to get out some aggression.

Cooking is fun. Feeding people is more fun for me. If i had someone to supply me all the ingredients I would make dinner all the time.
