January

My sister in law so kindly wrote on my facebook today that I need to update my blog. So Anna, this is for you.

January has been a slightly crazy month. All of my College Program friends left, which was a slightly traumatic experience, but it's starting to balance out again. There are some cool new people at church and I really like the girls I'm working with. We all agree we're having a hard time getting along with our new management intern, but I probably should not post any public details about that. I've been getting a little tired of working nights and weekends, but only three more months of the program and then on to bigger and better things. I'm not sure what that is yet, but I'm working on figuring it out.

The New Year started out great with spending New Years Eve at Epcot. It was crazy busy with people everywhere, but it was totally worth it to see the fireworks and not be at work. I really wanted to go to the Magic Kingdom, but it hit capacity way early and I bet the place was a mess. I did experience a few new parts of the world that I had never been to before though, so that was nice.

I did have to move the beginning of January which was not a lot of fun. I was lucky to have some help, so that was awesome. I like my new roommate, which is good news! I like living in one bedroom better than a two bedroom, so this time around is working out much better than last time.

One of the great things about Florida is I actually went to the beach in January. Amazing right? It was slightly chilly, but nothing compared to Idaho, so no biggie.

I'm really excited because the Harry Potter park at Universal is opening in April I think. I have never been to Universal, but I really think I will be checking it out soon. There are already things there that I would love to experience, but the Harry Potter park will make it all worth it.

Two movies I have discovered lately that I really liked are "The Invention of Lying" and "A lot like Love." A lot like love has Ashton Kutcher and it had so many lines in it that I've added to my quote book. (I don't really have a quote book, thats just a in my head type of thing).

Tomorrow I go to Hartford, CT to visit my parents, Jon, Anna, and Jacob. I'm so excited to meet Jacob for the first time. He was born the day I left for Disney World in August and I'm so sad I have not had the opportunity to be a part of his life. I can't believe how fast these boys grow up. My nephew Carter already had his first birthday and my sister just told me Colby is learning his ABC's. I wish I could see these boys more.... Anyway. I'm super excited to visit Yale and Mark Twains house. It's going to be awesome!
